Private local personal-assistance application
STAN is a private personal-assistance application operated by Klaus Muerle. It runs locally on the owner's computer and connects local tools, authorized online services, and external AI assistants to support tasks requested by its owner.
STAN is not a public hosted application. This website exists to provide public information about the application and its use of authorized online services.
Google / Gmail access
STAN uses Google-authorized read-only Gmail access. The current workflow retrieves selected LinkedIn job-alert messages using a configured label and sender filter. It does not send, delete, or modify email.
Task-relevant information may be processed by connected services and external AI providers, including OpenAI, as described in the privacy statement.
